The chateau is located in the village of Pleurs, postcode 51230.  The entrance is on Rue de la Liberation, the D53.

We are just over three hours drive from Calais, taking the A26 toll route.  When you reach Exit 20, Sommesous, take the N4 direction Paris.  After 15 minutes or so leave this road at the Pleurs exit, at the T junction turn left onto the D5.  DO NOT take the first turning signed for Pleurs, STAY ON THE D5 for a few more minutes and then take the next turning signed for Pleurs, going right on the D53, Rue de la Liberation.  The entrance gates to the chateau are on your right, just after a small bridge approx 100 m.

Further Directions

If you are flying into Paris CDG we would recommend picking up a car and driving from the airport to us, approx 1 h 45 minutes.

If coming by train into Paris Gare du Nord, you can walk round the corner to Paris Gare de l’Est and take the train to Romilly sur Seine, approx 1 hr 15 minutes.  You can then collect a rental car from AVIS or ADA in Romilly itself and we are about 30 minutes away.  If you have lots of luggage then it is better to collect a rental car from the station in Paris and drive, approx 2 h 15 minutes depending on traffic of course.

Another option by train is to take Eurostar to Marne la Vallee/Chessy (Disneyland Paris) where you can also find plenty of car rental places.  The drive from there is approx 1 h 30 minutes.

We are located approx 10 minutes from the pretty town of Sezanne.  If you visit their Office de Tourisme website it is extremely informative and will give you plenty of information regarding local champagne growers, restaurants and events in Sezanne itself.

The medieval town of Provins is well worth a visit, their website is also very informative, Office de Tourisme de Provins.  It is approx 50 minutes drive from us.

Troyes is located approx 1 h from the chateau, with its lovely old buildings and some very good places to eat, you can also do some ‘outlet’ shopping at Pont Saint Marie.

Epernay is approx 50 minutes drive, passing through some beautiful scenery and pretty villages.  The typical Champagne producing villages of Avize, Vertus and  Cramant are about 40 minutes by car.

Further on you have the town of Reims and the Montagnes de Reims with its wealth of quaint villages and vineyards.
